I love writing children’s books because there is such innocence in youth. Joy is joy. Friendship is friendship. Emotion is pure. When kids are mad. They express it! When they are sad, they cry! As a mother, I felt my responsibility was to preserve the sweetness while helping them to navigate the grown-up world. I think it worked! My daughter is a social worker, my son is a professional involved in state government. I am so proud of both of them!
